Hi Everyone,
First, I'd like to say that I hope all the Mom's out there had a great Mother's Day!!! I do know that the Cal Poly Car Show and Strawberry Festival was a very popular spot for Mom to be taken out for the day. I had a great day spent with family and recieved a wonderful surprise visit from my son, who showed up with flowers and a card, that made me a happy Mommie.
Let's take a look at what we've got coming up this weekend.
First I'd like to remind you about the American Streetrodders Ruby's Friday Night Car Show at Ruby's Diner, Whittwood Town Center, 10109 Whittwood Dr in Whittier. Show starts at 5pm and runs every Friday night now til Oct 26. The show is open to all American cars up to 1975, Hot Rods, Street Rods, Trucks, Customs, Originals and "Get-R-Done" vehicles (no motorcycles please). And be sure to bring your appetite and grab a bite at Ruby's while you're there. Saturday May 19 head out to The Shoppes in Chino Hills for the 3rd Annual Car & Bike Show from 10am - 2pm, presented by the Chino Valley Fire Foundation.
Saturday May 19 The Living Word Assembly presents the 5th Annual Car Show "Cruise For Christ" from 11am - 4pm at 11887 Telephone Ave in Chino. Sponsored by Old Style Classics.
Now I'd like to give you a "save-the-date" event..
Father's Day is Sunday June 17 and if you're already wondering what to do for Dad, I've got an idea for you. Over Father's Day weekend why don't you bring Dad out to the Greatest Roadster Show On Earth, the 48th Annual L A Roadster Show at the Pomona Fairgrounds, June 16 and 17, show times are 7am - 4pm. The event will feature a roadster exhibition, a trade show with manufacturers and a swap meet, and back by popular demand, a Cacklefest on Saturday from 10am - 2pm.
